Digital growth program tailored for companies in the healthcare industry
Are you an early-growth company with a solution within welfare technology, digital health or medical technology?
EIRA is a digital accelerator, tailored for health tech companies in their early-growth phase. The aim of the program is to help with industry-specific knowledge, tools and network which can contribute to growth and scale-up for your company.
Who can apply?
The program runs over 5-6 months from October 2022. With two physical workshops during week 43 and 12, the accelerator provides you with the following:
Program fee: NOK 17 000 (value NOK 150 000. Partly financed by Innovation Norway).
As a participator in the EIRAccelerator you will increase your competence in these areas:
National cluster with more than 290 members and partners. Main focus on medical technology, digital health and welfare technology. Head office in Stavanger, with nodes in Vestland and Agder.
Norway Health Tech has a vision of making Norway the world’s best arena for health innovation. They are a non-profit member organization with close to 270 members representing the full value chain of healthcare. They address all areas of human health – with an eye for technology.
Highly ranked incubator with more than 27 years of experience. Tech Transfer Office for 6 research institutions. Early-phase investment through Validé AS and funding through Validé Invest II. Two in-house developed accelerator programs in addition to EIRA; ITSA Start and ITSA Growth, and one of four partners in SR-bank GründerAcademy.
Aleap, a non-profit incubator, offers a community for health startups. Theyr mission is to facilitate innovation and value creation by developing an ecosystem for ambitious health entrepreneurs and companies to create new products better and faster.

Business Development Manager
Therese holds a MSc in Management from Brunel University London, and has 10+ years of experience within project management and business development. Her main focus is activities related to business development, internationalization and larger events.
Manager NSCLab
With an background as an civil engineer within product development, Marit has extensive experience with mechatronics engineering, marketing management and internationalization. She previously managed the start-up incubator at Validé. As an expert in the field of health technology, Marit now manages Norwegian Smart Care Lab, helping companies with testing and validation.
Lifeness, Grasp and ShieldME participated in the pilot of EIRAccelerator which took place between October 2021 and March 2022.
